Bill Lyles, Esq. — Attorney & Mediator
Bill is a 1992 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. In law school, he served as a Student Works Editor for the South Carolina Law Review. He was an Order of Wig and Robe Graduate and a Member of the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court.
Following law school, Bill worked at Nexsen Pruet where he became a partner in 1998. At Nexsen Pruet, he began his practice working on complex business disputes, including the defense of clients in lender liability actions, securities claims, and consumer class-action cases. Bill has extensive experience in the area of construction litigation. His clients have included owners, homeowners' associations, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, insurance companies, and sureties.
After 8 years of practice at Nexsen Pruet, Bill founded Lyles & Lyles, LLC with his cousin where he practiced for 17 years. Today, Bill is focused almost exclusively on serving as a mediator in all types of disputes. He has mediated in excess of 700 matters, involving from 2 to 40 parties with settlement amounts ranging from $20,000 to over $20,000,000. Bill has earned an "AV Preeminent" rating by Martindale Hubbell.
